I am Dr Sarah Moorad, I was born and raised in Stanger on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal. I graduated from the Nelson.R.Mandela School of Medicine at the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2009.

Inspired by the terminal illness of a young cousin, I pursued a career in medicine. In the pursuit of my career, I fell in love with the human body and how everything works coherently and in harmony.

I have been practicing as a General Practitioner (GP) in the Sandton area since 2015, prior to which I was an Anaesthetics Medical Officer.

Having grown up in a close-knit community where everyone helped one another I learnt the value of maintaining relationships. I thus pride myself in providing patient treatment that focuses on fostering strong patient relationships to ensure everyone receives the best comprehensive care they need at all times.

I am committed to empowering my patients to make informed choices about their health and future medical needs so that they can help play a role in their treatment and ongoing care.

I believe in providing high quality, safe and compassionate patient care which focuses on treating the patient, as a whole, in the context of their life and relationships.

I am married with two children and when I am not enhancing my professional knowledge or developing personalized care plans, I enjoy baking, traveling and cheering on my favorite sports teams.
